Started at Miller: 2004

Having gained an HND in Civil Engineering and a degree in Construction Management, I started out as an engineer, working on Water Treatment works, Roads, Bridges, Reservoirs and Prisons. I spent a year in Australia as a Land Surveyor before returning to engineering in the UK.

I joined Miller Construction as site manager on the Armley Leeds LIFT project, eventually becoming Project Manager on the £6.5m Lower Wortley Enhanced Primary Care Centre.

It is exciting to be part of a forward thinking company like Miller. I think it's the people here that make it such a comfortable company to work for. The Miller Experience course gave all of us the opportunity to get to know staff from different regions. Not many companies do that – let's hope it continues.
